Chili Mac and Cheese

I love using leftovers to elevate basic foods. My fiance wasn’t feeling well earlier this week, so I decided to make him a bit of boxed mac and cheese. I just couldn’t leave it alone though, and decided to use the leftover chili from the hot dogs to kick it up a notch. Best decision ever! The apple flavor infused into the chili add to mac and cheese was beyond comfort food.

RECIPE: Chili Mac and Cheese
Makes 3 Servings

SUPPLIES NEEDED:
Pot
Spoon

INGREDIENTS:
Boxed Mac and Cheese
Butter
Milk
Leftover Chili

DIRECTIONS:
1)
Begin cooking the boxed pasta in a pot with water. When done, drain it.
2) Add only a splash of milk and 1 T of butter. Stir until melted and mix.
3) Add powdered cheese, and then the rest of the leftover chili.
4) Stir until everything is evenly incorporated.
