I decided to try a new variation of granola bars that skipped the honey and brown sugar since the others were a little too sweet. I must say I miss the honey taste, but they are definitely less sweet! These aren’t bad, but I am still on the search for the best granola bar recipe for my tastes.
RECIPE: Granola Bar II
Makes 12 Servings
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
9 x 9 Baking Pan
Bowl
Spatula
Oven heated to 325 Degrees
Knife
INGREDIENTS:
2 Cups Oatmeal
1/2 Cup Wheat Germ
1/2 Cup Enriched Farina
1 Cup Raisins
1 t Cinnamon
1 t Cloves
14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
DIRECTIONS:
1) In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients.
2) Press the mixture into a greased 9×9 baking sheet.
3) Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes or until browned.
4) Cool and then slice into granola bar sizes.
